the yellow, Common Broom

The Common Broom (Cytisus scoparius) or Besenginster (German), is a perennial shrub which belongs to Fabaceae family and native to Europe. As the member of this family, the plant has a typical flower that consists of a banner, 2 lateral wings and a fused lower keel. 

It can produced ammonium as a results of fixing the free nitrogen in the soils with helps of Rhizobium. The plants is known for its beauty as ornamental plants and also its toxicity, producing some alkaloids and flavonoids.
